Jill AND Mary

Jillian Shennessy (born 25th November, 1968) is a Canadian actor, performer and singer who had a major impact on American television. Her most well-known work is her incredible performances on the American TV programs like Law & Order (where she was awe-inspiring to viewers for three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she played the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy is also famous for her exceptional performances in RoboCop 3 Most Wanted. Some other movies include Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) and The Acting Class. Her acting career started in 1988 when she and her sister played twin callgirls in Dead Ringers. In 1990, she made an appearance on Broadway in the role of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. She then moved into science-fiction and was her first role as Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. In the following year, her biggest break was when she was cast in NBC's smash drama Law & Order to play assistant district attorneys Claire Kincaid.
